Franklin County, VA's own Gabriel Robey discovered bluegrass while attending college in Blacksburg. Now Charlottesville and the Alternators are lucky to claim him. He also lends his picking and vocal talents to Franklin County's Harwell Grice Band, and Charlottesville's Southwater. His influences include Tony Rice, Larry Keel, and Bryan Sutton. He enjoys fine red wines, General Tso's, and "Lost", occasionally in the same evening.
