A native of California, Mike's family moved to Telluride, Colorado in the 1970's just as the now world renowned Telluride music festivals were getting established. Working at every festival he could in order to get in free, he witnessed a variety of live music, which has shaped his tastes today. "Mike Ike" is also a member of 40 Dollar Mule and the Southwater Band.
